Celebrants gathered on the docks at Blount’s Clam Shack to guzzle oysters and little necks and quaff a libation, while enjoying sea shanty music against a colorful sunset. Later, interests turned to jovial conversation and picnic fare. Competitive bidding on auction treasures was sweetened by delicious desserts. All and all, Warren Heritage Foundation supporters toasted Warren’s shellfishing heritage at the 8th annual gala with good friends, good times, and good food — at the same time helping to ensure Warren’s unique history is preserved.
